What is WebGL?

By Katherine Jacoby | May 28, 2021

What Is webGL

WebGL[noun]: short for Web Graphics Library,  a JavaScript API for rendering 2D and 3D interactive graphics without a plugin across a variety of compatible web browsers

Skipping over the days of Flash and other plugins to engage with interactive content, the WebGL programming language makes bringing interactive 3D to almost any device possible. ATLATL Visual uses WebGL to bring clients’ products to life across a multitude of digital devices, allowing consumers to engage with and evaluate products through 3D visualization and configuration, as well as AR in real time, from wherever they choose.
